COVID-19 Victim Service Response

March 16, 2020

Victim service programs across the state are still open and available to provide 24/7 free and confidential services to survivors and their family members in all 99 counties. This includes providing crisis counseling, assisting with resources, and more.

Programs in your area may be adjusting their services to minimize the spread of COVID-19. We recommend checking in with your local victim service provider to see what services look like in your area. Click here to find a program in your area: https://www.iowacasa.org/help

The Iowa Victim Service Call Center remains available 24/7 for free and confidential phone services at 1-800-770-1650 or by texting "IOWAHELP" to 20121.

Victim service programs are working together to ensure the least disruption of services possible, and we will continue to keep you updated as changes occur. Take care of yourselves, stay healthy, and be safe.

Please note: as of March 17, IowaCASA staff will be working remotely to limit the spread of COVID-19.
