Louis C.K. is the latest in a string of actors, producers and politicians accused of sexually harassing and assaulting men and women.
The comedian admitted Friday that allegations claiming he sexually harassed multiple women are true.
Officials with the Iowa Coalition Against Sexual Assault (CASA) told KCCI they have seen more victims feel comfortable enough to come forward in the recent week.
Jenny Putz, with Iowa CASA, said she hopes the conversation continues.
"Once you get people start talking about it, survivors then feel more comfortable also sharing their own experiences,” Putz said.
