Tottenham's pre-season friendly against Rangers will be played at Ibrox Stadium, Glasgow on Saturday, July 23.

Rangers vs Tottenham? Rangers will host Tottenham tomorrow (Saturday, July 23). The game will take place at Ibrox.

Tottenham will be eyeing their second pre-season friendly win when they face Rangers at the Ibrox Stadium in Glagow on Saturday.

Rangers and Tottenham have only ever faced each other in a competitive fixture twice, with both meetings coming in the 1962/63 season.

This was a peak Juve squad - including the likes of Peruzzi, Ferrara, Sousa, Deschamps, Vialli, Del Piero, Ravanelli, Jugovic and Di Livio alongside Antonio - that would go on to beat Ajax on penalties in the final and lift Europe’s premier trophy.

Antonio remembers those matches well - not least coming up against a certain Paul Gascoigne at Ibrox - and expects the famous old stadium to be rocking again when we step out to play for the Walter Tull Memorial Trophy on Saturday (3pm).

Rangers travelled to Portugal earlier this month for a training camp and were in the middle of playing their first friendly against Sunderland before the game had to be abandoned. Since then however, they have defeated Blackpool down in England before defeating West Ham in a friendly at Ibrox earlier this week. Now, the Light Blues will test themselves against English Premier League opposition once again as they take on Antonio Conte's Tottenham side at Ibrox. And Van Bronckhorst will hope to iron out anything that needs addressed in his team before next week's Premiership opener against Livingston.

Tottenham continue to have one of the busiest summer transfer windows following the arrival of a sixth new signing.

Djed Spence became the latest addition to Antonio Conte's squad this week after joining Spurs for an initial fee of £12.5million, rising to £20million depending on bonuses and add-ons. Conte revealed after the announcement of Spence's signing that it was the club that pushed for a move for the 21-year-old, with the Italian agreeing to sanction a move for the England u21 star.

"For sure the atmosphere will be amazing. A good test for us," he admitted. "For sure we're talking about a really good team. We are working hard but at the same time, we want to play a good game and to try and be fit for the start of the season."

There are a number of different ways Conte could choose to line-up at the Ibrox Stadium, giving new arrivals game time or those who the Italian still needs to assess. With that in mind, football.london takes a look at three ways Tottenham could line-up on Saturday.
