Sexual assault can be verbal, visual, or anything that forces a person to join in unwanted sexual contact or attention.

Effective July 1, 2005 Iowa law requires that law enforcement officers provide survivors of sexual assault with a written statement of their rights in English and Spanish. IowaCASA developed this victim notification card for use by law enforcement agencies and other organizations serving survivors of sexual assault.
Printing Information:
These cards are to be printed on 8 1/2" X 11" paper. It can be the paper weight of your choosing. Print both sides - one side for English, the other for Spanish. After printing you will need two horizontal cuts across the pages to end with three equal heights (3.6"). If you would like to tri-fold these, additional cuts should be made to remove excess paper from the edges. These cuts would be made along the left and right sides.
